Tell us about yourselves. How would you describe your music?
Generally speaking we fit in the realm of Post* music but we give it a little twist by adding elements from Prog with odd meters, tempo shifts or characteristic scales and modes. In the end this is what happens when someone comes up with an idea and the others contribute to it.
Who/what are your influences?
Musically, we are influenced by a huge variety of artists. From very minimalistic and ambient records to the very extreme, somewhere down the metal rabbit hole. Personal lives, experiences and politics also add to our compositions.
In 2023, you released the album Terra Nostra. How was the experience of writing and recording the album?
There are a lot of steps between coming up with new songs and having a new record in hand. Naturally, time was a bit tight and the process was sometimes stressful. But our engineer, Mahmoud Kattan, did a fantastic job accompanying us while we recorded in our rehearsal space. After that, he mixed the whole thing and gave it some extra colour. In the end we can look back to an intense recording phase but we are very happy with the result and that is what counts.
What are your opinions on the post-rock/post-metal scene in Switzerland?
There are not too many bands around in this kind of field so the scene is rather small and pretty well connected. As for Zürich we were lucky enough to have had the opportunity to play several shows under the Bergmal banner. Now that they are in a sort of hibernation we really enjoy seeing AllesPost as a new collective to organize shows.
What can we expect from your live shows?
We often hear that we play with a lot of energy, tight, and also heavier and more raw than on the records. We are also never afraid to make stupid jokes.
Are you looking forward to Alles Post?
Of course! The line up is very diverse and we honestly don't know all the bands yet. We are looking forward to be playing to an interested crowd and meeting new people. Also, headlining the bill is a fantastic opportunity for us.
Where can we hear more of your music?
We are on all major music platforms, such as Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, as well as Bandcamp and more.

Zuckerbecker
Tell us about yourselves. How would you describe your music?
Zuckerbecker is a four-piece band from Zurich. We play Punk Music with Wave influences.
Who/what are your influences (musically and lyrically)?
We have been influenced by many various musical styles that impact our music and lyrics. The obvious influences are 80s Post Punk/Death Rock bands such as Chameleons or Christian Death or more recent acts such as Eagulls or Nightwatchers. Also we listen to Sonic Youth and Wiper from time to time.
You released your self-titled album last year - how was the experience of writing and recording the album?
It was great. We recorded and mixed it in a no-budget DIY manner and we are quite happy with the result.
You’ve played a few shows in France and Germany over the past year, how was your music/how were the performances received abroad?
All the shows were attended very well and the feedback was great. It’s amazing to play shows abroad and obviously in cities like Berlin, Köln, Leipzig or Paris where a lot of punk-oriented people live.
What can fans at Alles Post- MusikFest expect from Zuckerbecker’s live show?
We always want to play tight and intense shows from start to finish.
Where can we hear more of your music? What are your social media links?
We’re on Bandcamp and Soundcloud and have an Instagram account. Also there exist a couple of videos.
